Blank Canvas is based on a set of themes which are organised into five movements – Supernova, The Optimist, The Jungle Catacombs, Gateway and Afterthought, all which connect into each other through the repetition of main themes, ongoing sound design and similar textures.

The intention of these movements are to take the listener on a musical journey, showing influence from beat-based electronic music, cinematic orchestral music and sound design/sound composition.

This composition was a study for myself not only in the creation but also with the graphic score. I wanted to show that a score can act both as an independent art and also be readable and performable.
