As a self-sufficient classically trained composer, Mae writes, orchestrates and produces all of her work in both the digital and analogue domain.
Mae freely integrates a combination of orchestral, cinematic and electronic music elements into her work. Her music is personal and typically aims to bring her listeners on an emotional journey. She combines lush, elegant melodies, somewhat experimental and dense harmony and contrasting textures in her uniquely personal musical palette. Some of her musical influences include Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, John Williams, Thomas Newman and Gustav Holst.
